How to verify a charge from "System One" or "System One Software"
If a charge, invoice, or email appeared with the name "System One" or "System One Software" and you're trying to figure out who it came from, this article explains who we are, why you've most likely found the wrong company, and what to do next.
Who SystemOne is
SystemOne is a software platform for the music industry. We're operated by System One SaaS GmbH, registered in Berlin, Germany (HRB 156507 B, VAT DE815492739). We work with artist booking agencies—the businesses that book and manage tours, festivals, and live shows.
We don't bill private individuals, and we don't operate, partner with, or take payment from any service that helps cancel other subscriptions.
Our only official website is www.systemonesoftware.com, and all correspondence from us comes from that domain. Full legal details are on our Impressum page.
Why you've likely ended up here
Some subscription-cancellation services charge a one-off fee (often around €42) to send a cancellation letter on a customer's behalf. People who get charged by one of these services often search for the name on the receipt to figure out who took the money. If "System One" or "System One Software" was that name, the search will surface us—but we're a separate business with no connection to the charge. We didn't charge you.
Two quick checks confirm whether a charge is from us:
- A genuine SystemOne charge appears on a bank or card statement as System One SaaS GmbH (or a clearly recognizable variation, depending on the payment provider).
- A genuine email from us comes from a @systemonesoftware.com address.
If the company name, contact email, or paperwork doesn't match either of those, the charge isn't from SystemOne.
What to do about the charge
- Contact your bank or card provider. Most banks treat unrecognized or unauthorized charges as a disputed transaction and can initiate a chargeback. This is usually the fastest way to recover the money.
- In Germany, Verbraucherzentrale and the consumer-advice centers in each state have published warnings about cancellation-fee services and can advise on next steps.
- In the Netherlands, Consumentenbond tracks these companies and publishes warnings—check their site for the specific name on your statement.
Still not sure?
If you've checked the items above and still believe the charge may be from us, email support@systemonesoftware.com with the date and amount. We'll confirm whether it's ours.
