In-page editing on quotes, contracts & purchase agreements in the “classic workflow”

We completely rebuilt the screens for creating and editing quotes, contracts, and purchase agreements in the classic workflow (or V1). The detail screen now also supports in-page editing, so you can update information directly without jumping through extra steps.

These changes make the classic workflow for document handling more intuitive, faster, and up-to-date.

Recap: what's the classic workflow?

In 2023, we released an upgraded experience with eSign for quotes, contracts, and purchase agreements, replacing the original document functionality. To prevent confusion, we now refer to those original documents as the “classic workflow.”

The classic workflow was built on legacy technology, and as it’s still in use by a few of our customers, modernizing it became part of our upgrade effort.
